Para completar a estréia, meu filho foi entrevistado por uma repórter e acabou num programa de esportes na TV.

In our last days of holiday, before going back Holland, I took my son to watch his first football match.
The match: Santos (time of our family) and Ceará.
Score: 1X0 to the Saintos. Detail: without Neymar.
To complete the debut, my son was interviewed by a reporter and ended up in a sports program on TV.

Voltando para casa

Ai ai ai… Aconteceu tanta coisa… mas vou tentar resumir.
Tudo começou em julho quando fui para Terschelling no ‘Dutch Yoga Festival’.
Mistura de programa ‘hippie-new age +yoga quase 24hrs+ comida vegetariana’ com muito chá e zero café para o desespero das duas amigas que estavam comigo.
Conheci muitos professores legais, fiz aulas incríveis e acreditem ou não tinha uma banda brasileira tocando no festival: Shiva Samba (!!!).
Mas como eu estava muito zen suspendi o juizo e simplesmente curti o som deles ao lado dos holandeses que enlouqueceram com a batucada patropi.
O saldo final foi ótimo e ano que vem quero voltar.
Depois agosto e 4 semanas no Brasil: Pantanal, Bonito, Campos de Jordão, Santos e claro SP.
Acabo de voltar para a Holanda e de fazer uma cirurgia para tirar uns pedregulhos e a minha vesícula.
Mas amanheceu um dia lindo, meu filho foi para seu primeiro dia de aula com o colar de dente de jacaré que ele ganhou do nosso guia no Pantanal (um índio chamado Delirio) e eu já me sinto mais forte e bem disposta.
Hoje meu programa é chá de paciência e cama.

Oh boy ... So much has happened ... but I'll try to resume.
It all began in July when I went to Terschelling to the 'Dutch Yoga Festival'.
A mixing of a hippie-new age program + almost 24 hours yoga + vegetarian food with a lot of tea and zero coffee to the desperation of the two friends who were with me.
I met many amazing teachers, did incredible lessons and believe it or not there was a Brazilian band playing at the festival called ShivaSamba (!!!).
But because I was too Zen, I suspend my judgement and simply enjoyed it next to the Dutch’s who went mad with the tropical beat.
In other words it was a great experience and next year I definitely want to go back.
August and I went for four weeks to Brazil: Pantanal, Bonito, Campos de Jordão, Santos and of course lots of São Paulo.
Now I just got back to Holland and did a surgery to take my gall.
But it’s a beautiful shinning day, my son went to his first day of school wearing his alligator tooth necklace that he got from our guide in the Pantanal (an Indian named Delirium) and I already feel stronger.
Today my program is patience tea and loads of bed.
Good week for us all!

O museu Van Gogh anunciou uma nova descoberta esta semana.
Um dos auto-retratos de Vincent Van Gogh parece ser na verdade um portret de seu irmão Theo.
Até hoje estudiosos se perguntavam porque Vincent nunca havia pintado seu irmão, que além de apoiá-lo financeiramente negociava seus quadros.
As semelhanças físicas entre os dois irmão já era conhecida mas agora as diferenças foram o ponto de referência para distinguir o auto-retrato do portret.

The Van Gogh Museum announced this week a new finding.
One of the self-portraits of Vincent Van Gogh seems to be acctually a portret of his brother Theo.
So far researchers wondered why Vincent had never painted his brother, who supported him financially and also negotiated all his paintings.
The physical similarities between the two brothers was already known but now were the differences the point of reference to distinguish the self-portret from the portret.

Parafraseando Vermeer ela recebeu um prêmio num dos maiores concursos de fotografia da Europa, PX3 de Paris, com uma série chamada ‘Strangers’.

I’m very proud of my friend Simone Strijk.
By paraphrasing Vermeer she received a prize in one of the biggest photo contest of Europe, PX3 Paris, with a series called ‘Strangers’.

Autismo

O desenho acima é de David, um garoto de 13 anos nascido em Rotterdam e que tem a sindrôme de Asperger, uma forma de autismo.
Selecionado para participar do livro ‘Drawing Autism’ publicado em 2009 em NY, o desenho apresenta 397 espécies diferentes de pássaros.
David sabe o nome da maioria das espécies desenhadas, inclusive em latim.
Ele contou numa entrevista ao programa da TV holandesa Pauw & Witteman um pouco sobre sua sindrôme e revelou querer ser ilustrador quando crescer.
Eu acho que só falta ele crescer, pois ilustrador ele já é!

The Drawing above is of David, a 13 year old boy born in Rotterdam that has the Asperger syndrome, a form of autism.
Selected to get in the book ‘Drawing Autism’, published in 2009 in NY, this draw features 397 different species of birds.

David knows most of the names of the drawn species, even in Latin.
He told in an interview to the dutch TV program Pauw & Witteman a bit about his syndrome and said that when he grow up he wants to be an ilustrator.
Well, I think he only needs now to grow. An ilustrator he already is!

Tive mil idéias de post legais e no fim só fiquei com essa que não me sai da cabeça.
Na verdade quem me assoprou essa pérola foi o meu amigo Zefe (de novo).
Então vou voltar devagarzinho mas em grande estilo, inaugurando nova seção:

Slowly, slowly I’m coming back. God, I’m totally out of shape.
I had thousand ideas of brilliant posts but in the end I’ve been left only with this one.
That by the way was not even my idea (it was a tip from my friend Zefe, again…) And that by the way, I can’t take out of my head.
Slowly, slowly I’m coming back but with stile. Starting a new section called:

Mas estou fazendo muitas coisas com minha família.
Meus pais estão nos visitando e tenho ficado todo o tempo que posso com eles, com meu filho e meu marido.
Acredito que a relação entre pais e filhos é a experiência de amor mais profunda que vivemos.
O resto é a estoria de vida de cada um.

But I have been a lot with my family.
My parents are visiting us and I’m spending all the time I can with them, my son and my husband.
I believe that the relationship between parents and children is the most profound experience of love that we can have.

Mudanças / Changes

O Saia mudou! Não porque eu quis mas porque eu não consigo mais voltar ao meu layout original.
Fiquei louca da vida, perdi 2 dias em forum de discussões até que resolvi abandonar o rigor, aceitar o que é possível neste momento e voltar a pensar em conteúdos e não mais em formas.
O Saia vai ficar com essa cara até eu ter coragem de continuar lendo sobre formatações em htmls e como reformatar toda essa linguagem abracadabra.

The blog has changed! Not because I wanted but because I can not go back to the original layout.
I went crazy, lost 2 days in discussions forum until I decided to abandon the rigor, to accept what is possible now and go back to the contents of my blog and not into the form anymore.
Saia is going to stay like this for a while. Until I have courage enough to read al those htmls formatting discussions again and dive into the abracadabra world.
