Saia Pendurando / Hanging around

The Museum Boijmans, here in Rotterdam, has the most original cloakroom I’ve ever seen.
It’s a carousel in the entrance of the museum with a mechanism just like a clothesline.
Each string of the clothesline is individual, has a hanger and a locker with a key.
It works like that: you pull the rope with a hanger down, hang your coat and bag there and lift it up.
Than you lock the rope in a hook with a locker and take the key with you.
All clothes are hanging in the air just like an art installation in constant motion.
Are you curious? Take a look at the movie.
The cloakroom is called Merry-go-round and was designed by Studio Wieki Somers.
